Summary
Today I want to talk about my review for a 10 year old movie that is still entertaining both young and old with anthropomorphic animals and martial art skills. The film is called Kung Fu Panda and I would like to say that it was a highly enjoyable movie all the way from start to end with light-hearted humour, entertaining characters, beautiful animation, epic and exciting scenes, loads of slapstick and a great and meaningful moral about just being yourself.
What's it about?
The film is about an overweight giant panda named Po who loves kung fu and is one the "Furious Five's" biggest fans, The Furious Five is a set of animals who fight bad guys with kung fu skills to protect villages. One day a Furious Five ceremony takes place and Po decides to attend the ceremony where he gets chosen by the Elderly Master Oogway as the dragon warrior to fight off the Evil "Tai-lung" and save all of China. However the Furious Five's Master Chi-Fu and The Furious Five are very uncertain, because Po is overweight and clumsy and is terrible at kung fu. So Chi-Fu sets Po up for training so that he can prepare himself for the battle with Tai Lung.
The good bits
The film has beautiful animation that is perfectly relevant to the humour and martial arts fighting, fast paced and exciting. There is excellent casting of Hollywood actors, such as the casting of Jack Black as Po. The characters are loveable, and the story well-written with a lot of Heart. There is a wonderful moral about just being yourself so that you can save everyone.
The bad bits
To be fair, the only thing I did not like about this film was that there were some scenes in which Po gets beaten up that are taken humorously, which I did not find funny. Other than that, there was nothing else I can remember not liking about this film at all.
What is it similar to?
It is one of the best animated films with anthropomorphic animals I have currently seen, as well as one of the best animated movies I have ever seen and by far my second favourite movie of the year 2008, behind Disney and Pixar's "Wall-E".
Oscar's recommendation
I felt very happy to have seen this movie again, and I can recommend this movie to anyone who is old enough to see martial arts fighting in movies, as well as animal lovers, and fans of animation, kung fu and action.

Violence
There were some intimidating scenes such as She-Fu yelling at Po as well as all scenes with Tai-Lung in them, including the prison scenes and when Tai-Lung escapes. You need to be prepared for a lot of martial arts and slapstick violence and prepare yourself for yelling, threat and scary scenes. There was a lot of hitting, martial arts fighting and violence as well as a lot of slapstick violence.

Skills
Some people who are not very good at understanding any dialogue no matter how complicated or simple might need to have either their parents, sibling or companions in general to tell them all about the plot as well as keep them feeling safe whenever something either scary or threatening occurs as well as fighting and violence.
